These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you, the client, and us, Easy Tibet Tour. By booking a tour, you, our client, agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions below, please kindly make sure that you have read these Terms and Conditions and fully understand and accept the Terms and Conditions below.

Booking & Payment

Please send us email about your acceptance of our tour programs and price we offer when you are ready to pay a deposit for confirmation of your booking, and kindly tell us which tour package you are interested in. 

Booking and Payment

If you book your tour more than 40 days prior to you arrive date, pay a 25% deposit, full airfare or train fare is required for the confirmation of your booking, and the remaining amount is required to be paid by cash when you arrive in Tibet.

If you book your tour within 40-25 days prior to you arrive in Tibet, pay a 50% deposit, full airfare or train fare is required for the confirmation of your booking, and the remaining amount is required to be paid by cash when you arrive in Tibet. 

To book your Tibet tour within 24-16 days prior to you arrive in Lhasa, pay a 60% deposit, full airfare or train fare is required for the confirmation of your booking, and the 40% of ground tour costs once for the full balance, by cash or traveler’s checks,and the remaining amount is required to be paid by cash when you arrive in Tibet.

To book your  tour 10-15 days prior to your departure date, a full payment of your tour cost is required for securing your booking. (Please be aware that you need to contact your travel agency at least 10 days prior to your departure for Tibet, since the complicated process of Tibet Travel Permits)

Credit card of Visa, Master card or Amex

In Tibet, we didn't apply the access to online payment in credit card administration center in Shanghai, since this will be overcharged. In addition, providing your personal credit card information is always not a safe way in here. 

Cash

You can pay your remaining cost of your tour  by cash when you arrive in Tibet.

Cancellation & Refunds

30 days or more than 30 days before your tour start date, 60 USD per person will be charged.

29-15 days before your tour start date, 10% of the tour fare as cancellation fee will be charged.

14-8 days before your tour start date, 30% of the tour fare as cancellation fee will be charged.

7 days or less than 7 days before your tour start date, 50% of the tour fare will be charged.

100% of the tour fare will be charged if you cancel your tour when you arrive in Tibet or you fail to show up during your tour schedule.

If you cancel the group tour, the full payment of your tour cost ( please kindly contact our tour consultant for detail information about that)

If a change to your confirmed itinerary or service standard is resulted in the factors which beyond our control (such as unforeseen circumstances, political upheavals, weather etc.,) any extra cost caused under such circumstances shall not be covered by our tour agency. 

We will email you a scanned receipt of cancellation fee which charge by our agency. Please kindly keep this receipt safely, since we will keep this cancellation fee for one year under your name and it is still usable within one year, and you can use it when you come to Tibet again or you can pass it to your family members or friends under your permission. Please be aware that you need to send your itinerary before you apply Tibet Travel Permit and any traveler cannot book flight ticket or train ticket to Tibet without the Permit. And the permit will clearly lists every destination that you would visit in Tibet and this list cannot be change once you arrived in Tibet. Hence, please provide every destination you would visit in Tibet before you make decision about your trip plan. 

If you hold Singapore, Brunei and Japan passport is no visa required to visit China for up to 15 days for travel. However, you still have to apply Tibet Travel Permit for travelling around Tibet Autonomous Region and photo copy of information page of passport and travel itinerary also should be sent to a local tour agency in Tibet. 

When you pay the deposit, you need to provide information of every tour member in order to apply for your Tibet Entry Permit and/or any other necessary travel permits: full name, gender, date of birth, passport number, nationality, occupation.

Please provide all the same as on your passport, and email us clear scanned copy of each member’s passport (front page) and China visa to us.

When we received your deposit, we will arrange your tour according to the offer within seven working days. After that, we will send you a confirmation letter when your bookings are secured. 

Please be aware that you need to send your itinerary before applying your Tibet Travel Permit and any traveler cannot book flight ticket or train ticket to Tibet without the Permit. And the permit will clearly lists every destination that you would visit in Tibet and this list cannot be change once you arrived in Tibet. Hence, please provide every destination you would visit in Tibet before you make decision about your trip plan. 

Insurance

Please kindly purchase your international standard of travel insurance coverage for your own benefit before your arrival, since the Tourist Accident & Casualty Insurance which provided by travel agency in here is very limited. According to the policy of Tourism Bureau  of China, every travel agency in here must to buy obligation insurance for their clients. This means that tour agencies have basic business liability insurance. However, it is highly recommend obtaining your own travel insurance from your home country that may cover trip interruption, flight cancellation, emergency medical evacuation, and medical expenses, etc. In case of a medical emergency in remote places of Tibet. For your own benefit, you may want to make sure that your insurance company can at least provide reimbursement for all your medical expenses.

You need to get china visa before you enter Tibet, and we will help you to get permit to enter Tibet. If any member of tour groups is stranded in an area, our local guides will accompany with them until they are able to help them out of the affected area, and we can offer suggestions of other destinations that can be visited with our customer's approval.

Responsibility

We are not responsible for the consequences of your actions which result from your improper behaviors related to political issues in Tibet, and please consider about the consequences of your involvement of political issues will totally destroy the future of your guide, driver, tour operator and everyone who you contact with during your trip in Tibet. You should know that Tibet is politically very sensitive and Easy Tibet Tour Operator never involve in any political issue at all. Hence, please never participate in any political issue during the period of your travel in Tibet. )

It is not our responsibility to apply your China Visa and please take note the period of stay granted on your visa before you apply your Tibet Permits. 

Alteration the itinerary of your tour

You can make alterations to your itinerary before the confirmation of your booking, and please be aware that the conformation of your booking should be made at least 15 days prior to your departure day. However, please be aware that you cannot change your itinerary after the confirmation of your booking. Since once you confirmed your booking, we will send the document which include your itinerary to Tibet Tourism Bureau for applying your Tibet Travel Permits, and the itinerary is not allowed to change once you applied your Tibet Travel Permits.

Medical Issues

Please make sure that your blood pressure and heart condition are normal, and it is your responsibility to check your health condition before you come to Tibet since the high altitude in Tibet may have the possible effects on you.
